iphone in trouble over false advertising

The iphone was yesterday slapped on the wrist for a number of complaints toward the product for false advertising. The advert claimed that the iphone could browse all parts of the internet seemlessly. The only thing they didnt mention is that the iphone is compatible with flash or javascript! So that basically rules out alot of websites from being seen on your iphone.! TV marketing and an online marketing campaign were launched only earlier this year claiming that the new generation mac phone can access all parts of the net.

The advert has been banned all together in UK as mac uk have recieved so many complaints. Apple were quoted as saying, “the aim of the ad was to highlight that the iphone can access all websites better than a WAP browser can”.

Bit naughty if you ask me! The advert itself is crystal clear. I tried a website I know to have flash the other day and it wouldnt load….mmmm bit annoying really!

Elderly Woman Celebrates 116th Birthday

Thats right I have just come across a great story where a gypsey woman has hit the age of 116 and is still living very healthily. This is a massive feat for anyone to achieve, it just goes to show you that the human body is getting stronger and stronger every single day.

The grandmother of “30 or more,” who was born in the Granada barrio of Sacromonte on January 4, 1892, is thought to be the oldest person in Spain, if not Europe. She has lived her whole life as a struggle with bare amounts of food and no central heating. Which again proves that if in the right state of mind the human body can withstand alot.

Buying UK Land

As UK land is on the up (again) people are looking abroad to buy property to develop. I have been into property develeopment for just over two years now so I am rather new to the whole industry. I enjoy the work and the return on investment can be fantastic! However, I thought I would share my experiences about buying property overseas. It seems a little scary to buy a property in a different country but trust me the knowledge and experience that you will gain from investing into land abroad is incredible. And of course the total amount of financial investement is nothing compared to buying land and new homes in UK. I recently purchased a property in Sofia, Bulgaria and the project has gone so well! I have invested about £40,000 in total so far and I am expecting to make almost triple that profit when I complete the project.

Ok, so this is the property! It doesnt look like much at the moment but when its finished it will be tough to recognize it! The only trouble that I have encountered in buying new homes in Bulgaria is the language but other than that the people have been very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering buying property abroad to research alot about the area before you invest. There are pleanty of countries which are great for investing in and Bulgaria is only one of them! Go out there, do the research and get involved!! I have found some great websites which will help anyone considering investing in overseas property!

New Toilet Application Has Been Patented

Looking through the upcoming patents this morning I have noticed a new patent that has been filed for a new toilet flushing system, whereas the current toilets use a level measurement for controlling water the new toilets will try to see how much urine is in the toilet and flush it in that way. All I can say is what is the point? I dont have any problems with the toilet myself nor do I know anyone that has experienced problems. Instead of inventing solutions to problems that do not exist we should concentrate more on the problems that do.

Learn To Cook and Stop Eating Microwave Foods

So you come home from work and are feeling lazy and decide to have yourself a microwave dinner. Well you should stop right there, microwave dinners are NOT healthy this is a proven fact. I actually think they should be banned for one of two reason. Firstly they are making the whole world lazy and secondly they are not giving nutrients to the younger generation.

Also how long have most microwave meals been sitting around in the freezer. I suggest people should start eating more healthy, if you do not know how to cook then there are plenty of food books that can help you overcome this situation.

China to open the doors to tourism

The 2008 olympics are coming to end but it is not over as far as Chinese tourism is concerned. The chinese government has been planning a large attack on global tourism. All this promotion through the olympics has been an excellent way to show the world what China has to offer and now they are ready to open the doors to tourist investment.

Its the expectation of most of the suppliers that all this visibility that China is getting is going to make Asia as a destination seem more knowable and more reachable that it has in the past” says John Riggin of Partner Concepts.

The chinese government has already ramped up tourism promotion by their efforts in outdoor events at the olympics. However research has shown that each country to host the olympics immediately falls into a slump of global visitors. Australia’s tourist totals have dropped an incredible three consecutive years after the 2000 games and suprisingly New Zealands tourism has increased.

Now that the olympics is coming to the UK I would expect the amount of tourism and revenue to be astronomical! A local london event company has claimed that they have been preparing for the rush of tourism for the last two years in order to accomodate for everyone as best they can.

PS3 playing catch up with XBOX 360?

Its a tricky subject. The XBOX 360 and PS£ have both played major parts in revolutionizing how we play video games. I have an XBOX 360 but not a PS3. Very recently ps3 announced the release of a wireless keyboard which you can attach to the controller. The keypad enables you to chat easily in-game with other users and can also connect to other devices through bluetooth. The keypad can also be charged by attaching it to the PS3 system with a USB cable. Sony also added that the wireless keyboard will be packaged with a new $499.99 Playstation 3 system that includes a 160 GB hard drive and a dualshock controller! What a deal!

Wheather the PS3 is catching the xbox up?? mmm i dont think it is. The PS3 is creating its own individuality. It is creating unique content that is actually very different to XBOX software. If anything I would say that the two consoles are very simular indeed. It is just a shame that the PS3 is so expensive! I suppose you are paying for the quality though, my friend has a PS3 and you can watch blueray discs on it! And that does look absolutely amazing! I dont know, what is better PS3 - Xbox? What do you think?

The easiest way to see London!

If you ever find yourself heading over to the second largest city in the world, London then be sure to see as much as possible. It could take you absolutely ages to see everything you wanted to in London but there is one quick and easy way. I Live in Ireland and I wanted to come over to London on a weekend with my girlfriend to see the most happening place in Europe! it is so massive. There is no way to really comprehend how big it is until you get there.

Me and my girlfriend managed to find a simple solution to seeing some great sites. The thames clipper is a high-speed boat which travels up and down the thames stopping at numerous different tourist destinations such as London bridge and the houses of parliament.

The boats are usually used for corporate events and maritime events but we were lucky to find one that was strictly for tourists.

Another great website that helped me alot in finding out where all the london tourist spots were is visitlondon.com. If you were thinking about coming over to London I would highly recommend having a look at that website before hand to get a good idea on where everything is!
