As UK land is on the up (again) people are looking abroad to buy property to develop. I have been into property develeopment for just over two years now so I am rather new to the whole industry. I enjoy the work and the return on investment can be fantastic! However, I thought I would share my experiences about buying property overseas. It seems a little scary to buy a property in a different country but trust me the knowledge and experience that you will gain from investing into land abroad is incredible. And of course the total amount of financial investement is nothing compared to buying land and new homes in UK. I recently purchased a property in Sofia, Bulgaria and the project has gone so well! I have invested about £40,000 in total so far and I am expecting to make almost triple that profit when I complete the project.

Ok, so this is the property! It doesnt look like much at the moment but when its finished it will be tough to recognize it! The only trouble that I have encountered in buying new homes in Bulgaria is the language but other than that the people have been very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering buying property abroad to research alot about the area before you invest. There are pleanty of countries which are great for investing in and Bulgaria is only one of them! Go out there, do the research and get involved!!
