Phone Number Sells for $2.75 Million!
A Mobile phone number based in Qatar has just sold $2.75 million in Quatar dollars. They have now formally entered the 2009 edition of the guiness book of records.
This is an amazing amount of money to simply pay for a mobile phone number. Although the number was very catchy as it was 6666666, I do not believe that nearly $1 million US dollars is worth it, especially as it is a mobile phone number.
It just goes to show you that if you have a great number, you should keep it for as long as you can as it may be worth a small fortune in the near future.
