If you have been taking note of reviews and articles online then you have probably noticed that I have written a lot of posts about decorative metal mirrors. I have, in many occasions shared about how to place them correctly in the house, where to buy the best and why they are so important to our everyday lives. I still have a few more tips and tricks up my sleeve to share with you.

First and foremost mirrors are used to check your image and see if you are happy with yourself i.e. to be sure you are dressed for the party.

More and more people have gone past that functionality and are now using them to create an illusion of space in their homes. It is also know to increase natural lighting if properly placed.

There are a number of options to choose your decorative mirror from. For example, you can go for a oversized, Venetian, handcrafted, wall, metal, antique, wrought and full length mirrors to name just a few.

So if you have a small room and you can afford to buy some mirrors use them to cover the walls. A draw back to this is their vulnerability to being broken or dirtied by the kids and even some visitors. Simply find a mirrored tile that comes with a design overlay and the problem will be solved.

You can also have chrome bathroom mirrors on a mantle or add some mirror tile highlight on the wall – here and there.
